Glass

Definition: Waste glass is packaging glass which is collected for recycling. Used glass bottles and jars (“hollow glass”) are collected in containers provided by local authorities and private businesses. There is also flat glass, formed in sheets as window glass, or as an intermediate product for mirror and automotive glass.

Recycling: Glass sorting, remelting, insulating materials, road building
