Tyres
Definition: Waste tyres are tyres that are no longer suitable for their purpose or approved, e.g. car tyres with less than 1.6 mm tread or with brittle rubber.
Recycling: Energy from waste (cement works), materials recycling (the tyres are shredded and ground into granulate which is used to make new products).
